That's right, guys! After the release of next summer's THE AVENGERS which features Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Nick Fury and Hulk, expect to see different team altogether in THE AVENGERS 2 somewhere in the future! Well, that is at least what the movie's producer and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has revealed anyway. Odd as it may sounds, here's what he had to say below.
Absolutely. That's the fun of it -- introducing new characters. Seeing: 'How will things change after Iron Man goes through his next adventure? After Thor goes through his next adventure? If we do another Cap adventure, how will things change? The dynamic between them? Their own worlds? So that the dynamic in Avengers 2 is actually quite different than it is in the first one.
So which superheroes are going to appear in THE AVENGERS 2? They could be Ant-Man, The Wasp, Quicksilver, The Scarlet Witch, Vision, Black Panther, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, War Machine, Moon Knight, Captain Britain, Luke Cage and Doctor Strange.
Oh, really? That is certainly very ambitious. But here lies the biggest question: Will these little-known superheroes (possibly) going to assemble in THE AVENGERS 2 going to translate into mainstream box-office success?
THE AVENGERS 2 is expected to hit theaters in 2015.
