Veteran director Zalman King has passed away yesterday (3.02.2012) at the age of 69 after losing his battle with cancer. He was, of course, best known for directing a handful of softcore erotic classics including the popular TV series of Red Shoe Diaries (1992-1996) as well as movies including TWO MOON JUNCTION (1988), WILD ORCHID (1989) and DELTA OF VENUS (1995). He was also one of the producers of the highly-popular 9 1/2 WEEKS, which starred Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger. His most recent directing work is Showtime's Body Language and still pending on a post-production status for his last effort in KAMIKAZE LOVE.
